Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs: Legion will not get more updates after the last update 5.6
Up till now, Watch Dogs Legion has had a year and three months of updates that consist of multiplayer modes, story DLCs, characters, Bloodline, and 'Watch Dogs' protagonist Aiden Pearce.
Ubisoft's official statement states that "The current season 4 Rebels track, containing 80 ranks, will run until January 22, 2022, followed by Season 5 Stripes. After that, Seasons 3-5 will continue to cycle and return to the game, allowing you to acquire rewards you might have missed out on in the past. Some rewards to look forward to are a modified version of Aiden Pearce's jacket, and Jackson's mask and clothing set."
"The game has grown by leaps and bounds, with a ton of content to explore, from a sprawling near future city to an action-packed Online Mode. We couldn’t be prouder of the game we’ve created, and we appreciate all of you who’ve joined us on this journey in London over the year. We look forward to seeing more of your adventures in Legion"
Legion was originally released on Oct. 29, 2020 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. The next entry to 2016’s Watch Dogs 2, set in a future London absolutely loaded with hackers and spies. Players switch between recruited non-player characters — part of the DedSec hacker network — instead of operating as a single main character.
In its years the game received numerous updates, including fam favourite Aiden Pearce and Wrench, an Assassin’s Creed tie-in character and a zombie survival mode called Legion of the Dead.
